KitchenIt's on to the kitchen of the new 5th wheel. A few extras that come with the Patriot package makes a big difference. The main kitchen area has all the normal goodies, 3 burner stove with spark ignition and oven, microwave with turn table and hood vent/light. The counter top is Corian with a under counter stainless sink. The faucet is a nice high neck design to make it easier to fill larger containers. Below the sink is a shelf that can be used for spices. Behind the stove is a knife rack. The cabinets are solid wood doors and plywood construction with full length pull out drawers. The only drawback that I have found is that the cabinets are not as deep as my old trailer so it will take a bit of moving things around to get everything to fit.

Shown above is the refrigerator is 8 cu. ft. that will run on 110v or LP. This is a big improvement over my old 6 cu.ft. model. The fridge front has wood panels to match the cabinet doors. You can also see the doors and drawers open to give you an idea of the storage available.  To the left of the fridge is a large storage unit with shelves that will be perfect to food stuffs and dry goods.

dining tableWhat might be my favorite feature of the kitchen is the dining area that has actual table and chairs instead of a crappy booth. Sure I lose a possible extra sleeping area but I have no use for that anyways and I sure wouldn't want to sleep on those thin foam cushions. The table is cool as the top surface has a texture, almost a distressed look. The chairs have flip up cushions for a small bit of additional storage. The chairs are comfortable and I'm stoked to not have to put up with the old booth that was in the other trailer.

That's it for the kitchen, I'll post more photos later.
